Alum Creek State Park

This 4,600-acre park is popular among boaters, campers and outdoor adventurers. The list of activities is extensive: fishing, hiking, kayaking, horseback riding, swimming and biking. The Friends of Alum Creek Dog Park offers four acres of fenced-in play area for pets too.

Staas Brewing Company

The family-owned brewpub was the first of its kind following the end of Prohibition. The brewery has 12 taps and two English beer engines with a rotating selection of ales, stouts, IPAs and seasonal favorites.

Olentangy Indian Caverns

More than 105 feet below the surface of the earth is the Olentangy Indian Caverns. These caves were formed by an underground river and served as a refuge for the Wyandotte tribe. Enjoy a guided tour during the day or come on Saturday evenings for music and storytelling around a campfire.

Firehouse Tavern

The tavern was established as a place for firefighters, military personnel and other hometown heroes to gather and enjoy good food and drink. Firehouse Tavern offers 14 different beers, various specialty drinks and a mouth-watering assortment of burgers and wings.

Tanger Outlets

Shop for designer clothing and accessories at COACH and Tommy Hilfiger at Tanger Outlets. The open-air mall has lots of outlets, including The North Face, Nike and Calvin Klein. There are plenty of places to stop and grab a bite to eat during your shopping excursion as well.
