Groveport, Ohio, has a long history. The city predates the Ohio and Erie Canal built in the 1830s. Despite being almost two hundred years old, this Columbus suburb is packed with modern attractions and events for residents of all ages. Groveport Aquatic Center

The aquatic center is home to a 450-foot lazy river, two water slides, diving boards and a “sprayground.” This is the place to be during the summer if you’re looking for fun in the sun or a day to lounge by the pool.

The Links at Groveport

This course is accessible for beginners and provides a moderate challenge for avid golfers. The front nine was built in the 1920s and the back nine was added in 1971. There are a variety of fairways, greens, bunkers and water hazards to put your skills to the test.

Walnut Woods Metro Park

Groveport’s local metro park is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. There are miles of trails for walking and biking, creeks for canoeing and kayaking and several picnic areas. The Buckeye Area has a three-acre dog park for large animals and a single-acre park for small pets.
